Niger: Pioneer Churchs – Leadership Training – Children’s Education – Drilling Wells
Niger, bordering the Sahara desert, is located in the 10/40 window and is one of the three poorest countries in the world. Most years are considered famine years as rainfall is often not enough for the majority who attempt to live off of each year’s harvest. The average literacy rate is 28% and 50% of Niger’s 17.5 million people are under the age of 15. Though 97% of the people are Muslims, the country declares religious freedom. Because of this, Niger is a gateway nation, providing a way for the Gospel to not only penetrate its people, but also to reach surrounding nations. NOW is the time to reach Niger!
Neal & Danette Childs have been reaching the unreached with Vie Abondante (Abundant Life) in Niger, Africa since 1997. The goal of Vie Abondante is church planting and discipleship and there are currently 36 churches across the nation. These churches are all pastored by nationals (former Muslims), trained by the ministry.
Become a part of what God is doing in Niger through your prayers and giving.
Kenya: Churches – Leadership Training – Radio – Children’s Home

- Help plant or build a church, provide a sound system, or sponsor a crusade or seminar
- Provide housing, clothing, food and education for an orphan: $25 a month
- Sponsor a monthly, thirty-minute “Voice of Hope” radio program: $60 a month
- Join a team to Kenya to do leadership development or children’s ministry
Uganda: Youth Ministry
LEGACY YOUTH NETWORK is an organization in Uganda that we partner with to provide training for young people in their twenties and thirties in seven East African countries including Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Burundi, Congo, South Sudan, and Ethiopia. We hold an annual conference in a different country each year to help these young people network, strategize and plan ways to develop their communities. Pray with us that God will raise up a new generation of Christian leaders in these countries to preach the Gospel and start projects that will improve life in their communities. You can help sponsor a youth conference or project with a one time gift.
Burundi: Churches – Christian School – Bible School – Children’s Home
Burundi is a small, land-locked country in central Africa bordering on Rwanda. French is the national language, but the people speak Kirundi. It is a poor but fertile country with a growing church. Equipping the Nations is dedicated to the education and development of children and church leaders through the ministries below.
TUMAINI CHRISTIAN SCHOOL is for children from 3 years to 10 years old. (Tumaini means “Hope” in Swahili) The school has currently maxed out its current rented facility and .so we are in the process of raising funds to buy property to build their own school. This would provide the opportunity for ongoing Christina education to children for generations to come. Prayerfully consider giving to this project.
TUMAINI CHILDREN’S HOME is for orphaned and abandoned children. Thanks to donors like you, we were able to build a new home last year that currently has nineteen children who are sleeping in their own bed for the first time in their lives and able to eat off a table instead of sitting on the floor. Partner with us to help provide monthly support for food, clothing, and education for these precious children.
GRACE BIBLE SCHOOL is a two-year Bible School program bringing much needed training for pastors and church leaders. We are currently publishing twenty-four Bible School workbooks in the Kirundi language for the students. It costs between two and three hundred dollars to publish each workbook.
Please prayerfully consider supporting our work in Burundi by giving your tax-deductible donation on this website or mail a check to Equipping the Nations, P.O. 2652, Chester, VA 23831

Chris and Noelia Rowekamp: Iglesia Eco, Buenos Aires, Argentina
Iglesia Eco, or “Echo Church,” is a young church with two campuses in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The first, or original, campus is strategically located about four blocks away from one of the largest housing complexes in South America, home to over 50,000 people, and unfortunately with high rates of poverty and drug addiction.
Iglesia Eco has a vision to be a new family for those who come from broken backgrounds, and to lead people to lives of freedom through its groups for both men and women struggling with addictions. The church is committed to serve its neighborhood and city, and to invite people into true life in Christ.
Your financial support helps Chris and Noelia continue to live in Argentina and serve this church by leading their Evening School where they teach people how to study the Bible and go deeper in their relationship with God, as well as other skills like how to manage their finances and build healthy relationships. Chris also writes periodic devotionals in Spanish to help the church connect with God.
